Night Stalkers - 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) based out of Fort Campbell, KY. Motto: "NSNQ" - "Night Stalkers Never Quit". You can find that on their PTs.

There are several other locations they've detached units to as well. Read "Combat Aviation" magazine for updates. There's stuff online as well. To give you an exhaustive unit history and information is beyond the scope of a simple answer here, and most of it is restricted by OPSEC anyways. Do some open source research.

well,i am in the branch associated with them and have 4 friends in it.this is the nightstalkers: they are part of aviation in the army with their main base stationed out of ft. campbell ky with a couple others also scattered throughout. they have variant models of blackhawks, chinooks, and little bird helicopters.they are like the spcial forces of aviation( they actually fall under the spcial ops command). they do the missions deemed to risky by conventional units( ie. the 1 i'm in now :( ). they suport primarily the us special forces to include the rangers and delta force. they never hang around 1 place to long while deployed.they have vrtually unlimited funding.
