Its been a while since I have been to Belgium, but I remember visiting Brussels and loving it. It was a nice town that was enjoyable to walk around and see the sites the city had to offer.

I thought Belgium was neither very beautifull or interesting or colourfull or spectacular, but I loved it. It's this tiny almost artificial country squeezed in between the European giants, been run over by just about any nationality, never had any chance to develop any nationalistic feeling or arrogance. That gives you even in a city as Brussels a sort of safe, friendly feel.

I love it they constantly seem to think they are the most boring and uninteresting country in the world - making them a tiny bit more out of the box, be it in fashion, music, comic books or humour. Surrealism was born here. And the singing nun.

I think that is what makes Belgium a nice place. It also takes time to discover that though.

Belgium is a beautiful, fascinating country with a great deal of interesting history as it was the old centre of trade within Europe. The town of Brugge is my favourite. It has the nickname of "Venice of the North" given its canals. Brussels is also worth a visit to see the cheeky Mannekin-Pis

I was twice in Belgium and I love it. The most: Brussels (with its gorgeous Grand Place, the little Manneken Piss, the palaces, the chocolate, the beer......) and Bruges (wonderful medieval town).

It's a wonderful country and the people are mostly nice. The Flemish ones are probably the people in Europe most like the English, other than the English themselves.

The Ardennes is my favourite part. It is the most picturesque. The rest is a little...flat.

I fell in love with Belgium-beautiful town square in Brugge, lakes with swans, chocolate boutiques and delicious seafood eg. mussels in garlic sauce, the people are charming and it's worthwhile to go with a friend or partner.

I went to Brugge for a weekend with my friend and I loved it!
