I do believe Gandhi would have won it had he been alive when the Nobel Peace Prize came into being, but he had died hundreds of years beforehand.

Yep, if anybody didn't deserve a Nobel Peace Prize it's Ghandi alright... Are you crazy??
I don't know who this "Jinnah" was, but I'll tell you one thing. He's probably another Muslim hot-head who made things more difficult over there and set back the liberation of India by years.
But of course, by the grace of Allah, violence makes everything possible right? I'm sure Jinnah killed a bunch of "infidels" or something and became your 3,785,984,004 martyred saint. Yep, that's what we need. More hate.
Pull your head out of your butt dude. Ghandi had his faults but he did great things for India and humanity. Maybe we should start looking at NON-violent solutions to our problems.

I met with the director of the Nobel Institute in Oslo, Norway in 1984. He said it was a mistake that Ghandi was not awarded the prize. I agree.
