They may very well be worth a lot. But you need to decide what they actually are before talking to a pro over the phone. They are either paintings or water colors. They can't be both. Water colors are not paintings.

you could try an auction house, although they have a tendency to rip you off if they can get away with it. You'd be better off trying to find an expert at a museum or a university to give you an opinion. If its in their field then they'll be interested and they'll probably give you an idea of what it's worth as well.

go to ebay and find out. type in john stinton in the search and you'll probably find out how much people are willing to pay for it.

You would be better off taking them to a few different auctioneers for quotes

They obviously would be worth something, but would have to seen first. It is not something that you can assess on a few lines of text.
