Juss wanna confirm coz someone told me a something very strange that I had never heard before.

It's an old marketing trick. First - it shows both hands so you can see what they look like. If the hands were on top of each other, it would look very strange.

However, the main reason is that it looks like a smile. Really. Put your watch hands at 4:40, and then at 10:10. The ten o'clock watch looks more pleasing.

Mondaine watches have that kind of commercial. the watch looks better that way. :)
