First of all God loves each and everyone of us the same. But I feel the reason he gives us all different talent because each person has his or her purpose on this earth with that said God knows that he has a plan for everyone life and he know what one person can bear. So one person might be annointed to sing and dance while another might be able to just usher because that is their purpose and you can minister and touch someone heart with any talent you have because God gave you the talent and He works through all of us despite what and how many talents we have. Just think about this if we all had the same talent then the earth will be a boring place and chaotic because everyone will be trying to out do each other and not using there talent for the right reason to minister. And this puts an equal balance of talent among God creates

Just how boring do you think it would be if everyone had the same talents? If everyone was playing football, or singing in the opera or in the courts trying cases or teaching, who would be in the audiences watching, or in the classrooms learning. Everyone has a set of talents, if it appears that the first one has more then the second one, it just means that the second person has not searched hard enough for the rest of his/hers. Keep looking, they are there.

A better question is why does God bless us at all when we do nothing but sin against Him?
It is His perfect will that blesses some more than others. Also why do some of us use our gifts while others do not. God never said that He was going to treat us equally. God isn't a communist, giving the same to each. It amazes me how much of a socialist society we have become!
Some people get thier rewards on earth, other in heaven. I'd rather have my reward for all eternity instead of for a few short years!

As in the parable of the talents (which was actually a name for a kind of money) it is not as important how many talents or what kind of talents we have, so much as what we do with them.
What God wants to see is not how much we end up with, but how much we have developed compared to where we started out. A person with many talents who has done very little to develop them, or has used them very little to help humanity with them will be worse off then a person who has one or two talents that they have devoted themselves to developing and using to bless others.
As in the story of the widow's mite, Jesus pointed out that the rich men--who gave a great deal of money and made a big point of making sure everybody knew it--did not give as much as the widow who gave her only coin. She gave all, therefore she gave more.
And life it not fair. It was never meant to be. The judgement is fair.

no, I don't believe he loves anyone more. Having more talents does not mean nec. that one is happier or healthier or has a better life. If we all had the same skills, that would be pretty crazy! Talents are part of what makes us unique as individuals. They make us who we are and can make us proud.
I, for one, have a lot of talents. I've never figured out, however, how to use them to my benefit. I don't think that means God loves me less though.
We are all His children.

I'm not Christian but I STRONGLY doubt there are even as many people who are "talented with everything" than people who only possess "one or two" as you might believe. Curiously enough, I used to think (going through school, for example) there WERE people who had been gifted since infanthood with multitudes of talent and ability and I was cursed with not being "gifted" with even ONE. But I eventually got it through my own head--and that was a tough chore, to be sure--that a person whom I thought had several talents/abilities would inevitably NOT have a talent in something I did!! I do not think, however, people are gifted at birth but are encouraged by family members and friends not to be swayed by people who doubt them but pushed to be the best people they can be. I wasn't and only just discovered--at 32 years old!!--I want to be a chef. So I believe it has mostly to do with parental encouragement...parents teaching their children that they can do ANYTHING in life if they put their minds to it.

1) God plays favorites.
2) Life's not fair, then you die.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say life is fair, that God can't play favorites, or that we're all "created equal." If you want to use diversity of talents as proof of the absence of God, you'll have to come up with another source that claims God is somehow required to be "fair."
Just remember when looking at those hugely talented people you see: "To whom much is given, much is expected!"

If there's a God,He has other things to do than supervise our lives and talents. It's all a matter of chance to start with-some people are born winning the DNA lottery and have more talents
than the rest of us.

i don't know about the selection process but i do know some of the implications of it.
the more talents u have, the more u are hold accountable to. also bible does say " the 1st shall be last & the last shall be 1st" so the one with less talent maybe greater in heaven ??
& off course the more faithful u are to use those talents, the greater the rewards in heaven.
