Tel you what I apologize for all the times I wished a mother and her crying baby would go home. It really gets me up tight listening to a baby being loud and obnoxious and I will probably not like you later when you let your young run around unattended. I should be kind and patient but that is a lot easier to take here inmy den than when I have to listen and watch. When I had kids if they were being obnoxious , lucky for me they were pretty much pleasent (perhaps cuz I disaplined um pretty closely, I removed them from whatever place they were being obnoxious cuz I did not want to be a bother or for people to think I was not a good parent, but I was young then and felt way more responsible for others and I did have a mate who went places like that with me which is not all that common today. So again I apologize but next time I will probably think bad stuff when a crying baby interferes with my otherwise crappy day (on good days I do not even hear them). Stick a breast in the kids mouth please, don't worry about these inhibited defication brains.

As a mother of a toddler, and a frequent shopper of Wal-Mart, it's irritating to hear a screaming baby while you're shopping. I was always very considerate when my son started crying in crowded places, IE stores or resturants. The best trick of getting them to stop crying is to HOLD THEM. I always brought my diaper bag in, full of toys and a chilled bottle. If holding him/her doesnt work, a bottle, pacifier or a toy can entertain them. Sometimes they just dont want to be around people and you need to leave.
If there is no way to soothe your baby, go home and wait till they are in a better mood to go shopping. If I had to do this I went home and fed the baby quietly and let my son sleep before strapping him up and trying it again.
Or, you could take your cart up to the Customer Service desk and ask them to hold your cart while you go outside to tend to your little one. Go out to the car and let her enjoy the peace and quiet, or drive around the parking lot and let her fall asleep.

just ignore them, or give them a dirty look. I know it can be annoying for people around to hear it but haven't they had children, what, their children never cried or something? I've had comments, looks, stares, head shaking, it's very hurtful. You're already having a hard time with the baby crying and God knows what else it's put you through the rest of the day the last thing you need is something giving you a look of disapproval, it just makes you want to cry.

i get upset when i have to listen to someones crying baby. But the part that makes me mad is when the parent just ignores the crys. When a baby crys they need something and that makes me mad when they just ignore is. I want to go hold there baby or something. I think no matter what your baby should be your first concern. If someone is giving you dirty looks, make your baby stop. You can never spoil a baby to much by holding him.

People in general get upset about a crying baby because crying gets on peoples nerves. Some people think that surely the mother should be able to do something about it. If you know they are not hungry or wet than there is really nothing to be done. Ignore those people and go on about your business.

Most people are mad because they assume if the baby is crying you dont know what you're doing which is so mistaken.
If the baby is clean and dry, not hungry and not sleepy then he's just crying to be crying and sometimes can't be consoled. Just ignore them

people should piss off and mind their own buisness as a baby has to cry, the next time anyone either says or looks at you ask them did they never have children who cried or just stare at them as if they are the ones with the problem.

don't worry about it
some people understand, some don't
you are not the only one whose baby has cried in a store
try to solve the reason for the crying, or if you can't, just do what you have to do and leave
