Sin does not go to heaven. Our love for God is at a much higher level, so we will not sin against God.
Only those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb go to heaven. We already love God because He first loved us. Jesus shed His blood for the remission of our sins. Even one sin without atonement will keep us out of heaven.
The angels who did not sin / rebel against God are still in heaven.
Satan & the fallen angels tried to usurp God's identity & were cast out of heaven.

Bad and evil only exist so that we can compare them to good and learn the difference. Lucifer is a tool in the learning process of the soul, a way we learn compassion for others is by witnessing suffering. Life in this body is a small phase of a long learning process, it began before your soul was placed in this cocoon and resulted in what we call natural instincts. Learing is only accomplished when you seek answers through prayer, which is a comon practice among all religions. Faith will carry you through the search for the truth, not religion. Peace will verify the validity of the answers you receive. Patience is necessary, a 3 year old cannot understand complexities of physics. Listening is a tool that must be developed before learning can take place. Keep searching, but look in the right places.

Heaven does not exsist, it is simply a man-made fantasy. I'm surprised you don't know that by now.
The Bible is just a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve etc, and of course some intriguing imaginary places like Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo.
I certainly don’t believe in the Bible and I doubt any reasonably intelligent person would either. However, if you view the Bible as a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, and so on, then you can certainly start to see a clever interwoven plot, that the audience is unaware of. It’s really just a drama thriller with clever twists.
You see, if you seriously think about it in an unbiased manner, then clearly the actor God in the Bible could really be the Devil, and the audience (religious believers) are being sucked into being the bad guys, who then use religion to get everyone fighting each other.
On the other hand, the more intelligent audience (Atheists) spot the plot and try their best to teach believers that this is just nonsense, stop getting sucked in. Some people have over time decided that the play is real. That's very sad.

I think that there will not be any temptations to go against God in heaven, so bad and evil will be done away with. I think we will still have free will.
I do think when Lucifer was cast out it did change things.

I don't think God will take away our free will once we get to heaven. However, I also don't think any of us, after experiencing the presence and fellowship of God would choose anything otherwise, after having lived in this fallen and hurting world. It'd be like if someone lived their whole life in a 3rd world dump, with pain, sickness and sorrow and lonliness, but then taken from that dump to live in first class luxury with loving family and friends and more than he could ever ask for. He'd still have the choice to go back to that dump, but why would he choose that? Once we've chosen and experienced God in heaven, I don't think we'd ever want to go back to the way things were.

We always have the right to choose. That is a God-given gift. God cast Satan out because Satan wanted to take that right away. Satan still wants to take that right away. When we are with God, we will be outside Satan's influence, and therefore we will have the right to choose.

Short answer - Yes, those in Heaven (and Hell) still have "Free Will."
However, those in Heaven will all desire wholeheartedly to be there, and ( if C.S. Lewis is right ) those in hell will desire wholeheartedly NOT to be in Heaven.
(BTW - "The Great Divorce" is a really good book on the whole Heaven/Hell thing....)
PS: Brenda's World: The fool has said in his heart "There is no God." So I can't accept that a reasonably intelligent person would be an atheist. :p

We will have free choice in heaven.
Lucifer was given choices and he chose to go against God. We will still have a choice but the devil will not be allowed there to tempt us.
Reincarnation is the work of the devil. He wants you to think you have a second chance if you screw up this life. You don't.

We always have free choice to love God or to leave Him. Currently we are in this material world, because we wanted to leave God. If we go back to spiritual world, the Lord's eternal abode, we still will always have choice to love the Lord or to leave Him. Those who become envious, immediately leave. There is no envy, no "bad and evil" in the spiritual world. As soon as you become envious of God, you immediately leave.
