Short term, there's not a lot you can do besides make sure you have plenty of water and carbohydrates in your system.

Shell_Lynn99 is correct, but keep in mind that you need to also pace yourself and start slow. Stretching is also a good idea. Also, if you get the heart going before you exercise, it helps your muscles get more oxygen.
Think about this too: you need to do a mile in an hour... That's 1 mph or about 1.46 feet per second. Most people walk two to three times that fast. You'll be fine.

How do you run faster with out having so drained? Like dribbling along with your non-dominant hand, practice. although if you're quite quick, run sprints, 100 meters, 2 hundred meters, four hundred meters, no want to run longer distances in case your means is speed and in no way persistence. Your persistence will improve operating for longer sessions of time (say operating as a lot as 0.5-hour from15 on the treadmill) even though it type of feels your reliable factor is sprinting.

Can't help you in an hour. Just run a little slower if you don't want to get too out of breath. Once you run long enough, you will get on a runner's high and it will be easier. Good luck

Gotta do it every day and build up stamina. Don't give up. Start off slow, and eventually you will be able to run. You'll definatly be able to run it in under a mile. I can jog it in about 15 minutes or less.

Always keep at the same pace. If you start out fast, you'll get really tired, really fast. Just almost jog if you can. Keep your pace and breath as slow as possible.

I walk a mile in about half an hour (often less) everyday. Are you sure that's not a typo?
