Something that relates to a hobby or sport he enjoys. It depends on how much you want to spend, but tickets to a sporting event, semi-pro if you want afford a pro game, a theather show - the local community players if you don't have the money, a concert - a free one at a local college, dinner, a picnic - in the living room if its raining, a hike - take lunch along, tickets to a movie you would never go see but he would love, etc. Be creative. Those are the best!

What does he like? How old is he? How long have you been together? W/o this info, its kinda hard.

Me personally, I would make up some excuse to go to Best Buy with him, like I'm looking for a CD. Then see what he looks at and get an idea of stuff he'd want. The go back and get it if you can afford it or it seems appropriate. If you dont wanna do this, I would take him to a movie and maybe to dinner.

Have fun!!
