I have started to know me better, the last 36 years.

I don't really love me much, yet,

but I hope I'll manage it.

Then, perhaps, other love stories could follow.

best love story it's pretty long so i'll give you the crib notes version. I met her online in a yahoo chat room. Turns out she lived only 20 minnutes away , but we had never met. She was just getting out of an abusive marriage when I met her. My life completely changed for ever. That would have been to easy if the story ended there. About a week later her ex beat her up pretty bad. She was in the hospital all of last septemeber. I wasnt allowed to see her since I'd only known her about a week. Another friend of hers who was a guy who in fairness new her longer and also knew her family. weaseeld in and took her away from me. She fell in love with him. I was devestated, heart broken, but i vowed to have her in my life and became bestfriends.
Now almost one whole year later she broke up with her boyfriend and well I know can tell her how much i love her. So hopefully this will be happily everafter..

Met my husband through a friend...the first day we met, we all went to the beach at night to drink some beer. He decided he wanted to go swimming, so he stripped off all his clothes and ran down the beach buck-naked! I knew he was "the one" right then and there.

We went on a few dates, I spent the night at his house a few times, and before I even thought I was his girlfriend...he proposed! (5 weeks after meeting the first time)

We got married 3 months later...It's the best decision I ever made!
Everybody! Get married while the feelings are still strong! As long as you're compatible on the fundamental stuff...nothing else matters. It's so fun to learn something new about your spouse every day.

In a club one night. This person walks past me. I knew this it was something special. We meet up a little while later. We talked a little. Then we exchanged contact information. They came to see me afterwards that night/morning. We spent the night together. Nothing sexual.
We stay in contact with each other. Then we meet up again a few times. There was an issue of long distance. I went up there one Thanksgiving weekend. I knew then I was in loved. I cried for HOURS. I nearly cried the 6-8 hour drive home. I knew I had to come home. But I wanted to go back.
I did return that Christmas. We made out, and then ended up making love for the first time.

This person was like a gift from Jesus.

I never in my life thought I want ever come to this situation. I ended up falling in love with a person that was right in front of me for a few years. Finally after years of my heart trying to heal after the person above. It finally opened up to this person.

I was a freshman at Notre Dame. I had never dated in high school because all I focused on was keeping my g.p.a. up. I was also sick of being hit on just for my looks. I started chatting in Lycos chat and met the love of my life. He was my same age but a junior in college and he lived in Australia. We never exchanged photos, but got closer and closer. We talked on line, on the phone etc. This went on for most of the year. We both felt the same, we loved each other madly and just HAD to meet in person. He flew in and the way he knew me at the airport was I had a shirt on with his name on it. We both laughed and then embraced and kissed. We laughed because I assumed he was a blonde with blue eyes, you know, since he was Australian and he had assumed the same of me! We are both Chinese. We spent a week together, he flew home to get his things in order and a few months later came back to me. We eloped to Vegas and have been happily married now for 10 years. We both finished school, have great careers and two gorgeous kids!

After graduating from Univ. got a corp job. Many girls around, none hit the spot. One day at the local coffee shop, friend points out a girl walking by and tells me that is the kind of girl you marry not mess around with. Another day I see this girl - she works at the same company I do. I pass by now and then giving her the "how u doing look" until I get enough courage to ask her out. She accepts and on our first date admits to me that her co-workers had pointed me out to her and told her, "now there is the kind of guy you marry, not mess around with." I told her my side of they story and we laughed throughout the date. After 5 months of dating, one night, we went out and I took her outside the building where we worked. She told me that the place was closed and what were we doing there. I told her to get out of the car and then I got down on one knee. I pulled a box out and asked her to marry me. She opened it and said "YES". We married 10 months later. Have been married 16 years and have 2 beautiful kids.

OK - first we were only chating in internet(since May, 2005), we were living in different cities. In August, 2005, I decided to move and live in his city, but not because of him. By this time I had other boyfriend who was living in that city and I moved because of him. The present one (he's name is Hristo) wasn't even knowing I'm moving there. Anyway, in September things became worse with the previous boyfriend and we broke up. Then suddenly Hristo call me just to hear my voice and when he understood I live in his city he ask me to meet each other. We met and we started to going out together, we even made sex. At first he said we are nothing but friends, no matter that we had sex. I was broke cause I have already fell in love with him. But I continued to going out wit him. He even gave me as a present one of his cats (he had two cats). In November we were together almost all the time, I was sleeping at his place almost every night. One time he ask me to bring my new cat in his home to see how grown it is. A few days after I brought the cat, some problems with rent of the place I was living in appeared and I had to move out. Hristo say that me and the cat could stay in his home till we find new place to live in. I stayed at his home for a month and we became really close to each other. When I told him I'll start to search for a new place to live, he said that he want me to stay. And now we are living together for already 10 months.

I met my husband at work. We were both in the military (he still is) and he kept telling me I was to damn happy all the time. from then on, I felt it was my duty to make him happy and show him the "finer" things in life. needless to say, 6 years later we are still together, married for 5 of those 6 years, have 2 beautiful girls and are closer than ever.
