That whole thing really upset me - how she kept insisting that she wanted a dog and she didn't want to hear how she shouldn't leave it outside...yadda yadda. People like that have no business caring for animals.

Please click the link above for details of her rant. More than anything, I'm concerned that someone so immature would even own a pet, let alone make it live outside.

You obviously do not know mush about Malamutes..(pun intended)
She was speaking of a Malamute. She resolved her question and went on her way..minding her own business..
Edit: I stand corrected! We were referring to two different askers..
sorry about that..

ok, I dont know why the guy above me thinks she is getting a malamute, considering she never said that, and she did say that she is afraid of big dogs. Unless, he talked to her personally. I think she is stupid and selfish. Unless she is getting a malamute which those dogs naturally prefer being outside all the time, but she said shes afraid of big dogs.

I think someone should tie her to a tree and forget about her. Why would anyone even consider getting a dog just to let it "live" outside??? Makes no sense to me.
Now that I've got my back yard fenced in, sure, I let me dogs stay out for an hour or two, but when they're ready to come back in, they all stand by the door -- I let them in.

Oh for crying out loud! They are DOGS, not human BABIES! As long as they are well cared for, there is nothing wrong with keeping them outside. SOME breeds even prefer it!
My dogs are inside dogs, I prefer it. But it is none of my business if someone else does it differently.
Quit frequenting the AR websites!

You are 100% correct. Outdoor dogs (and cats) are more likely to get parasites and diseases.......if the traffic doesn't get them first. Not to mention stolen and used for bait to train fighting dogs, poisoned....the list goes on. Besides dogs are pack animals and need to be inside with their pack (family).

does this mean i dont care about him ? nope
and my dog atays outside during the day he likes it
I think its wrong to keep a animal locked in a home!!!!
so some pets like it outside!!!it doesnt make people bad pet owners!!!!if anything keeping it locked up in a house is more wrong!!!
