my clothes smells like mildew after washing them.

you need to flush your well with clorox because you have bacteria in your water and is probably unhealthy to drink. Contact your local health department for testing.

Draw some water up and smell of it. I would still have the water tested anyway and don't drink any until you know what is going on

You need a better water purification system...or at least a tune up on the old one.
For mine you need to put in fresh salt every month and occasionally choline. Maybe your system needs maintenance. I know what you mean, that smell can be awful! PU!

Sounds like your well is drying up or something is leaking into it. Also check your pipes.

either your well is gettiing low...or you arent getting your clothes completely dry. if you hang your clothes out to dry and it is real humid they will sour before they dry.

put more salt in the water softner, or upgrade the water softner

have it tested and don't drink it for now. use bottled water.
