No, this sounds like a good amount. Vitmain C is not stored by the body so you can not have any toxic effects from taking large quantities. I take 1000mg per day and know one lady that takes a whopping 3000mg per day with no adverse effects. Take care : )

How much is too much???

The newly calculated figures for the "tolerable upper intake level" for vitamin C -- the highest level of daily intake that is likely to pose no risk of adverse health effects to the general adult population aged 18 years an older. For vitamin C this is estimated at 2,000 mg for adults; 400 mg for children ages 1-3 years; 650 mg for children ages 9-13 years, and 1800 mg for young adults aged 14-18 years old. As intake increases above this level, the risk of adverse effects increases.

Nope. In order to OD on Vitamin C, you gotta basically take a whole big bottle everyday for a month.

Did you know its even possible to OD on water? Sure its simple, you consume nothing but water in super huge quantities daily, what happens is that you screw up your body's ph balance.

Its ok, take all the vitamin C you want.

Absolutely not. On average we can handle over 1500 mgs a day of vitamin C. You can't really overdose, your body will get rid of what it doesn't need (but it involves some nasty clean up...)

vitamin C is not manufactured in the body, Vit C or excess of it does not store in the body in case of OD overdose, but body needs it everyday, so go ahead, that's not OD,(exception is people with dangerously thin blood)

No, Vitamin C is water soluable - which means it is not kept in the body and needs to be replaced everyday. You are fine!

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, so you will pee out anything that your body can't use. You can't OD on a water-soluble vitamin. Munch away!

Too much vitamin C will never harm you. Plus your dosage is not excessive.
