The first thing you should do will cost money.....get allergy testing!!!!! A lot of migrain's are allergy induced. I had a friend who gave up eating hot dogs, and lunch meat.... which have a certin preservative in them.... and he hasn't had a migrain in almost a year. Check for allergies, and if that isn't the case.... try "Topomax" it's all natural, but still has to be prescribed by a doctor. And it works! It isn't a pain reliever, it blocks the migrains.

Have you had an MRI done? Ive been suffering from migraines since I was 14. I finally found out that i have a tumor. You can take a HOT bath and have the lights off. When you get out, lay in bed with all the lights off, curtains pulled close. And put a cold towel on your head. Then go to sleep. It helps sometimes. Otherwise have your dr prescribe Phenergan for the nausea and Imitrex for the migraine. it'll knock you out for like 12 hours. Almost always you wake up better. Good luck

If you only took one paracetamol that would not help a severe headache. You would really need to take two at a time. You seem to be sneezing a lot and I was wondering if you are getting a cold. If you are all blocked up then that could account for how you are feeling. If it is no better in the morning after sleep then you will neeed to go to the docs and get something for it. Meanwhile you could try placing a cold wet face flannel across your forehead. I have found that to be very soothing. Hope it goes away soon.

Acupuncture and massages are great for preventing migraines. Also, I take magnesium, feverfew and 5-htp which helps out.
If you get a prescription from a Dr. for Topamax, you may want to do some research on all of the side effects.

Lay down in a darkened room or close the blinds/cutains windows open slightly with a cold damp cloth on the forehead and as much quiet as you can get.
It made me feel better quicker hope it do you.
