Why is is that when you see someone yawning, you can't do anything b ut yawning? Why do we yawn actually?

Because yawning has a hypnotic affect on someone else and we yawn because it is an involuntary action when the body requires extra oxygen when we feel fatigued

it is to do with herd instincts, as humans are pack animals. if one yawns, you start yawning to show sympathy to them for being tired.

you can make your cat or dog yawn too if you do it infront of them and do it a couple of times

You yawn to get more oxyen into your body. and its like a smile u see someone smile and its pased around.
