Asian Wedding - Groom's family pays
American Wedding - Bride's family pays for EVERYTHING, except the rehearsal dinner and the honeymoon.

But now, times have changed so usually most people split it down the middle.

American weddings is the bride pays for pretty much all of it and the groom pays for the reception...I think Asian is the groom pays for everything...I'm not completely sure. That's why my fiance and I are doing a half and half (mixing traditional asian with traditional american) with us paying for everything!
www.TheKnot.com has really good wedding etiquette stuff you need to look it up for who pays what. Another would be www.perfectwedding.com. Good luck!

at my wedding my parents paid for everything but the rehearsal dinner and all the tips for the pastor, caterer, photographer, etc. my hubby & i paid for those. etiquette says the bride's family pays for everything but the bride's bouquet, the transportation for the bride & groom on the wedding day & the rehearsal dinner.

A Hindu Tamil boy is marrying an American White female. the mother and dad of the yank female additionally undergo in the time of the rituals Father of the bride donning a" Pavitram" in his ring finger. A Tamil BRAHMIN Priest is " Solemnising" and achieving the Rituals. i don't be attentive to how an American marriage look as though.

You should shoulder all the expenses, and be lucky only if the asean family will help with the expenses, which in fact they are willing to do so just so their daugher will not get embarassed..
But not all.
