Yes (if the people really practice it and don't use it as a weapon).

India is extremely religiously diverse and has been for centuries. For the most part the religious groups have lived and worked with one another very well. Some say this is because of Hinduism and the other Dharmic religions (Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism), but considering there are Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Muslims, and even tribal religions, amongst others, that all co-exist together and have for the most part lived harmoniously well it seems to say a lot about the true nature of the religions (which is peaceful). When asked to the people there why they "choose" to live with other people of other religions they all can quote from their own sacred texts and traditions the reasons why no one religion is better than any other. Sadly throughout much of the twentieth century and early twenty first century there has been a rise in violence between religious groups in India. There is some speculation that there are outside groups (whose motivations, goals, and intentions are different than local Indians) who are often at the root of stirring up the trouble. Some investigations and research that has already been concluded about some interfaith violence that has happened in the twentieth century has already proven that this was the case in those incidents where outside groups fanned the flames of hate and intolerance and it spilled over into violence by larger groups of people.

Acually all choices are biased. The only way you could be unbiased in all things is to never make a choice and that in and of itself is a choice.
