Buying goats milk in the store is so expensive, I thought I could just do it myself.

I'm affraid not.
It would have to be pasturised.
That is when the milk is heated up and all of the bacteria is killed.
I don't think goats' milk is a good idea though.
I would just stick to ordinary milk like SMA or even better -your own! Your own is packed with all the vitimins your baby needs.

Almost. Depends on the age of the baby and the health of the goat. If the baby is between 6 and 18 months of age, you can give him goat's milk (from the goat), but you need to boil it first (and then cool it). If your baby is older, then you can try giving him milks straight up - but try with a small amout first. Since the milk you're getting is not pasteurized, it will not keep for more than 2 days. If the baby is younger than 6 months, I would not give him the milk - at least not without consulting your doctor.

as a matter of fact I did give my son Goat milk
don't milk the goat directly into the bottle
try to keep the goat away from the other animal
to insure cleaniness
Ask more info from your pediatrician

Yes, you can give your child goat milk. It's very good for them!

I live in a suburban area, but my dream is to move to a small farm and have a few goats and chickens to provide us with fresh milk and eggs!
