Sounds like it too me! you dont want her falling and getting hurt! im going through the same thing with my daughter at the moment. Ive put her in a toddler bed with a rail that keeps her from falling from it and she seems to be doing well with it. My pediatrician said that babies should be in a crib until 3 years of age but she was over the weight limit for the crib anyway. Just try it out and see how she does. Remember the baby gate in the door of thier room cause ya dont want baby up wandering the house at all hours!

NOW---anytime they can get over the crib, its time for a toddler bed. It's less dangerous for her to fall 1-2' out of the toddler bed than 4-5' from a crib.

I agree w/ the very first answer. If she's getting out of her crib she's old enough to have it converted to a toddler bed (if your crib does that) or to a toddler bed.

A friend of mine had her child fall out and her baby displaced her hip. I would get your daughter out of there ASAP!

You can get her a toddler bed now. They say between the ages of 1 1/2 and 3. My son is also 19 months and I have been looking at beds.

I would suggest getting her a bigger bed as soon as possible. When my daughter was able to crawl out of her crib, we got her a twim bed and put a safety guard on it. They are very sturdy, and it will help you sleep better at night knowing she is safe. Good luck!

She is ready for a bed. You probably want to get rid of the crib as soon as possible because there is a possiblilty that she may hurt herself while climbing out. Be careful!

Wouldn't it be better for her to be in a "big girl bed" rather than take the risk of her breaking a bone or worse? Sure, she may get up earlier or find staying in bed at bedtime a new game. Keep in mind it is a new learning stage that she is obviously ready for.

now would be the best time to get one of those first beds where its a frame and you use the mattress from the crib. It is low to the floor incase they fall out they won't get hurt. Wal-mart carries them good price

When she started crawling out of the crib. If she can get out of it there is no point in her being there.
