like some say they only like girls that are blonde and skinny. why can't they just look passed what the "norm" is
i mean beauty is the eye of the beholder. one guy may think you are really ugly the next guy thinks you are the most beautiful woman in the world.

Guys see girls n there dreams that they just love or celebrities nad they just automatically think oh thats the kinda grl they want until they realize they cant have that kinda paticular girl n thye sumtimes just need to grow up.

True. But same way with some girls. I have actually been accused of this. A guy has told me once that I'm like every other girl that likes the guys with muscles and tats and piercings. Personally I don't see anything wrong with liking any of that. But its not required for the guy to have any of that. I like meeting and talking to all kinds of guys. I also think my expectations are reasonable. Have to have a personality, intelligence, humor, open minded, honest. Things like that. Doesn't matter what the person looks like so much on the outside. And regardless there will always be a spark between you and another person, more so than someone else that may have the same characteristics. I just think everyone needs to go with their instincts when choosing partners, instead of basing things off past experiences or some commercialized ideal of who they want.

Some guys are just that way...I know exactly what you are talking about. I have a male friend, he is now 38 yrs. old and he's only had 2 girlfriends in his entire life. Why? He will not settle for an 'average' girl. Not that he's terribly ugly or anything, women approach him all the time, he's just the type of guy that will not settle for less than the 'model type' girl. I don't ever think he will find that type of woman, I think model type is way out of his league, but at the same time I support him for not settling for anything less than what he wants.

It is the same way women think of men. Many women like tall athletic guys with nice eyes.
Everyone has a preference, I personally like college educated brunettes with a sense of humor that are not to skinny and not to fat.

They get so into the fashion magazines and videos thinking thats how girls should really be. It's crazy that they think that is what real women look like. They have no idea how much makeup, hair styling, airbrushing etc.. goes into those womens daily primping.

Women create their own expectations a lot of the time, by thinking they it would be nice to have X's breasts, and Y's lips, and so on, because they think that is what guys look for. It is like some women think that unless they have huge breasts men won't find them attractive, it's nonsense, i find huge breasts a turn off. So please don't blame us guys all the time.

Hey, that's just life. Everyone has their own preferences. You can't hate on them though. You have to stop going for the wrong type of person. And that involves looking in the mirror and being honest with yourself. Everyone can't do that.
