brother marl, I feel it is time to move into spiritual union with GOD. I believe humanity has evolved through water baptism and it will cease. I feel churches will teach metaphysic, spirituality, or they will cease to exist ,it appears God is already going around most churches.

Jehovah's Witnesses practice water baptism as a public demonstration that a mature person makes a conscientious decision to dedicate himself to do God's Will.

Well BEFORE his baptism, an aspiring bible student would be demonstrating that he is living and working in unity with true worship.

(John 17:20-23) [Jesus said] Concerning those putting faith in me through their word; 21 in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth. 22 Also, I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one. 23 I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be perfected into one, that the world may have the knowledge that you sent me forth and that you loved them just as you loved me.

It may have dropped in other religions, but Jehovah's Witnesses are baptized in water and the number of baptisms performed each year has usually been over 200,000.

God's church remains the same.

But in the church of today yes baptisms amongst alot of other things has dropped dramictally. All due to big buisness that man has created again in the name jesus. Sounds like the den of theives has arrived again.
I pray for you. Amen

Yes.

It appears He is switching to the Baptism of the Spirit. Perhaps in prep for the rapture.
And the churches have become perverted.

Water baptism is big in the Baptist church. It has declined in the other Protestant denominations.
