This question coming from you surprises me. I think that it is very obvious that the world is made up of people who worship, or not, God differently. I hope that one day we can all accept each others beliefs without telling anyone they are going to hell.

Most YA users live in western countries.
For many years Christians slaughtered anyone that followed any religion other than Christianity. It was much like Islam is today in the Middle-East and Asia.

Says who?? This is a rather small minded assumption. I am well aware of other religions - and I am also aware that Christianity and a majority of its followers has a penchant for being the most outspoken on this site, the most righteous, and the least able to follow its own tenents....this is why we pick on you people... because it is YOU that beleives Christianity is the only true religion!!

sure it will be no longer plausible to collect up 2 of ever species contained in the international. the biggest museum of technology would not even come close and their specimen are useless. yet there has been some information that co-relates the Bible. Their religion has survived, in part, becuase it teaches that it IS the only "true" god. All the others are just fakes made up by Satan to confuse people.
Imagine if they were easy going on that point and just said "hey- you tree huggers are JUST as valid as Jesus!".... I'm sure Christianity would die out pretty quickly :-)
I see no problem with others believing whatever they want to (that they are worshipping the only real god and that I will go to hell because I differ in my beliefs...)...
... but it is pretty sad that their religion is one of love, tolerance, and compassion... and so few seem to truely practice those core principles.

I am not a Christian, but I certainly do not believe "Christianity is the only religion there is". It is precisely BECAUSE I am aware of the great diversity of faiths in our beautiful world that I am a non-Christian.

I assume you are speaking of the level of hostility towards "christians" who frequent this site, as apposed to truly believing that they think this.
I have yet to see another religion on here slander, hate, abuse and willfully judge others as much as the so-called "christians" on here.
Accept or deny this, it matters not to me. I only speak the truth as I see it.
