I think most "Christians" that say they are "saved" are liars. It's cool to be in the POPULAR Crowd. They LOVE to advertise on their cars that they are saved, they sing about it in their bands, they are PROUD of it...I know SO many "Saved Christians" that cuss, and watch porn, and are proud, and selfish, but on Sunday...PRAISE JESUS!
They don't know what they are saved from...They sure don't act like Christ...Did he ever advertise? No..... I think they are saved from being uncool to their friends.

Your right God is not pleased, but that does not mean that I am still not saved.
God has reached down his hand and has grabbed me. and I yell that I am saved. And you say that I am not because I am here in sin with you. And I say back to you that you are right I am still in sin but what god grabs no one can take away from him. Maybe his hand is still here waiting on you to climb into as well.
I will not be out of sin until the end of this age when god comes and destroys all sin. Until then his hand remains waiting for you to climb in.

I believe saved is another word for spiritual awakening.
Our modern society has Christianity all screwed up and confused.
To be sin-free is IMPOSSIBLE! Christianity is not meant to be free from sin. We are humans and we aren't perfect. If someone has offended you, you should confront the individual, not 1/3 of the world's population.
God is pleased with us all. However, we often assume God is displeased, and so through God's foreknowledge God sent Jesus as a token of his love for all of us. To allow us to understand that God forgives us the moment we ask for forgiveness. God has freed us from the guilt of sin by doing so aka SAVED. God wants us to learn from our mistakes not keep making them, but as humans we are not perfect.
So just because Christians are NOT PERFECT is not an excuse to judge us as if we are perfect.
Show me a question where a christian stated they were sinless and perfect.

I think it's more of a repeating series of grace periods. I think if you remain humble and admit that you are imperfect yet are working on it, then that suffices. Then your spirit will be saved from hell after death.
My personal opinion is that this is a control mechanism devised in the early middle ages to keep peasants and serfs in line and not at all the real teachings of Jesus.
I think rather that "sin" is simply akin to unconsciousness. Buying into the idea that happiness and harmony come from external objects. Thus you compartmentalize your self and all things in life separating yourself from god. The hell comes from being separate from god.

It doesn't mean saved grom SIN... because it say that, "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"... but we are saved from going to Hell... we can't stop sinning because it's in our blood but we can ask for forgiveness when we do.

Being Saved is accepting who our Lord and Savior is, Jesus. Without his payment for our sins, we are doomed to spending eternity away from God. By being Saved we are forgiven of our sins and can spend eternity with our Creator.

Any christian who claims to be saved is not saved. Only god and jesus knows who is saved, no one else.

No, God is not pleased.
We are not saved from "sin"....nor are we saved from "hell"...
What we are saved from is the consequences, or "wages" of sin...which is death.
The gift of God is eternal life!
