I already have side-swept bangs, but they've grown out. Can anyone give me tips on trimming my own? Thank you :)

cut them when they are dry is the first rule about cutting bangs.

then make sure you are using a good pair of shears... and follow along the original cut... less is more... meaning cut small, you can always take more off its hard to fix botched bangs... so cut slowly and little bits at a time....

it would be MUCH better to go pay the 5 bucks for a bangs trim though.

Good Luck Hon

Go to your stylist we usually don't charge much for a quick bang trim but if your not going to listen to me then .......................To trim them yourself ...
1st get them damp not sopping wet just damp
2nd comb them straight down determine which way the angle is.
it will either be to the left or right. Dee deed dee
3rd now take your left hand as if you were going to salute and place bangs between middle and index finger. pull down until you get to the shorter side of the bangs
4th here is the tricky part..... if they sweep to the left, lower your wrist not your fingers and this will give you the angle to cut on.
if they sweep to the right then you need to lower your fingers not your wrist to get that angle.
5th trim bangs with SHARP shears!!!!!! repeat as necessary due to dull blades.
6th Style and go party like a rock-star!!!!!
I am a stylist so i have to charge you 5$ for the bang trim..Oh your a new client? Well then this one is on me.

My best tip is to get somebody else to do it, every time I do it to myself, they are always uneven,
