Resently i asked a girl out, and she used the words strictly friends... what does this mean?

I think you know the reason, you just want it reinforced, and this girl knows what you're like which is why she has specified 'strictly' friends to you - she is being careful with you from the get go so you can't then turn around and accuse her of being a tease or whatever else you may say when you finally do make a pass at her and she has to turn you down.

She is trying to set the groundrules early on but you're still resisting the meaning of what she's saying! It's a shame this girl can't see this question you've asked on here so she can know for definite that it's probably not worth even trying to salvage a friendship 'cos you're not going to settle for that!

Simple. Be strictly friends. Guys seem to lack the patience to do this, but when she's sick of all the men who don't treat her right, she may decide to try you out. It can't hurt and might actually lead to a great, lifelong friendship. Don't be too eager to get to the "benefits" part. There is no law that says you can't date other people while you and she are just friends. Good luck.

Stay friends man its way better than reuning a chance of friend ship afterward. She has made her mind that she going to see how u react to this and if u say kool Im all 4 it she will respect that and then maybe down the road she will ask u.

This means that she only wants to be your friend, just a friend, always a friend and doesn't see you as someone she wants to date, fall in love with, have sex with or otherwise be in a romantic relationship with.

If you are cool with being friends, then be friends, otherwise you may be in for hurt if you think it will grow into something more than just friends.

It means she is not attracted or interested in you to date. If you wanted to date her and not be "strictly friends", then move on my friend, move on.

Exactly what it says. She wants just friendship. So talk and hang out with her. It never hurts to have more friends of the opposite sex, usually they help you along the way to finding the right one.

you be friends with her.. treat her like you normally would only better.. and if you wanna be more than friends.. show her how good you can treat her.. and she will notice.. trust me being a girl i know they notice every little change.. then maybe she will realize you are not as bad as she first thought.. and consider it .. but, if you do get together with her.. keep treating her good.. dont stop just because she is with you!

Unfortunately, it means exactly what you know it means; "Just friends". If this is what she wants from you, this is all you're going to be able to offer her without pushing her out of your life all together. Sorry.
