in muslim belief, God has no wife, no children, no obvious bodyparts, no gender, doesnt look anything like human cause that would make him impure.. He is free from all things impure..
Jesus is the son of Mary, who yes, did get pregnant because God made Jesus in her. And Mary was a human, mortal. But a good being nonetheless.
If you want to believe there's no such thing as wife of god, then it;ll be good to know Jesus was a prophet, a MESSENGER of God. Not son. Not son. Not son.
Well thats from the Islamic point of view anyway..
P.S. : I'd appreciate a little religious tolerance by hoping you won't condemn my answer. Its just another religion's view.

If God was the creator of marriage, then why question what He does? God created marriage (and parenting!) so we could have a basic understanding of relationships based on unconditional love, so we could have a glimpse of the relationship we can have with God. It's very complicated! But he doesn't need a wife, we humans do enough nagging (just kidding!). The Bible does say that the church is the bride of Christ.

Of course God has a wife....And the same reason why you would protect your wife, or husband, from your parents onslaught of attacks, is the same reason that God does not mention her in the scriptures. Our Heavenly Mother created us, by God's help. We were created in much the same way that children are created now. Everything on Earth was created in Heaven first, even sex. Sex between a man and wife who are legally and lawfully wedded is a beautiful thing...not dirty as many of you have made it sound.
Want proof? Read the Book of Mormon, D&C section 29 Verse 32 "First spiritual, secondly temporal, which is the beginning of my work; and again, first temporal, and secondly spiritual, which is the last of my work—"

There is no wife of God. The Holy Spirit allowed the Virgin Mary to give birth to Christ. There was no sexual relationship - God just made Jesus in her womb.

We are all God's children. God can be your wife, your husband, your child, your mother, and of course, your father.
So the wife of God would be God.
Another way to look at it is, all nuns consider themselves to be wives of God too. That could mean that God had other wives before Christianity started.
I like the first premise better personally.

The wife of God is the Goddess, who also happens to be the mother of God. Hence, when the Catholics stole their ideas from Pagans, they call the Virgin Mary "the Mother of God."

Jesus is God, Holy Spirit is God, the Father is God. Jesus Christ spoke the universe into existence.
Mormons are those that believe what you are saying, and they have more in common with Satanism.

Yes, I am sure Jesus is the Son of God.
I am sure that Jesus is God.
I am sure that Mary was virgin when the Holy Spirit (aka, God) overshadowed her with His power, and she conceived.
I don't understand it all, but then, I also don't understand how God could send huge balls of burning energy whizzing through space, either.
He is God.
I'm not......

It's all made up day-by-day to try to make it appear to make sense, it doesn't add up though, too much vagueness in the bible. The bible was written when nothing was known so obviously that's why there's very little real information in it.
We now know a lot more information which is why not many people look to the bible for answers, simply because there aren't any answers in it.
