No I don't whisper it, when it happens I admit it honestly and move on.

I sometimes whisper 'prends, je suis a toi, mea culpa' - but then again I have a thing for 1980's euro-dance with chanting monks in the background...

My sleeve apparently says 'MTSAK'. I have no idea what that means but I don't think it means 'mea culpa' in any case...

I think of the two men who went to pray.
The first guy sounds like alot of Christians we know. He's all about telling God what a good guy he is, and how he's better than most...especially better than the other guy, who is obviously a "sinner". Yeah, we all know that guy....
Then there's the other guy, who whispers "mea culpa, mea culpa"...and won't even so much as raise his eyes to heaven..."God," he cries, "be merciful to me, a sinner!"
And Jesus says it's the "mea culpa" guy who is justified.
Imagine that!!

You people need to read more.

... I say mea culpa, when I am to blame, but I do not imprint it on my sleeve as I believe that I'm a person of worth and am not at fault simply by existing.

Why should I whisper "mea culpa" when I did nothing wrong to blame it as my fault?

I don't whisper that at all. I wouldn't ruin a shirt to have it on my sleeve.
