Christianity has endured more persecution, ridicule, and conflict than most other competing belief systems, save probably Judaism. It has always proven to be resilient. What would make anyone think that something as trivial as an eclipse could bring about its demise? In reality – something that the inventors of this eclipse theory have no grasp of – come Sunday the pews will be just as full as they were before; children will be praying at night as they have always done, and the multitude of down trodden people will still be assisted by the altruism of the Christian spirit. The Republican party, with its distortion of the Christian message, jeopardizes Christianity more than any eclipse would.

There's an eclipse today? Cool! No, I'll still be a Christian tomorrow, and as long as there's just one person, there will by Christianity. I'm betting I won't be the only one, though.

Oh yeah....believe it. I'm going to be on the putt-putt course when it happens. I'm going to spend the last few moments of my life being happy.
If it doesn't happen at putt-putt then I'll be at Hooters. The end of the world can find my there.
