I fancie a family friend but is it a bad idea to ask him out? i dont know if he likes me that either. Help!

Talk to the dude an ask oblique quetions and then center closer to what you want to know, is he interested, if when you get close he seems offguard cool it and let him think. If he is not at all interested you do not want him to feel awkward in the future. Let himwonder for a while if you were hitting on him and see what he does. Does he seem to look at you a lot or continually sort of face you, those are positive signs. If you have a close sister have her watch him from a bit away while you talk to him and then get her input, cuz when you are close and involved you miss obvious stuff.

honey, all you need to do is see if he has feelings for you. ask him to go to the movies as friends or with some friends. see if he sits by you and what he does. if he pays attention to you a lot more than usual then he likes you but if he acts kinda skitish then he may be uncomfortable and that means he doesn't like you like that. be confident and if it works out then good for you but don't dwell if it doesn't.

Yes,, it is bad... but there are ways to subtly ask him so.. even if he likes you or not..

tell a friend to ask him out for you if he says no tell your friend to tell him she was just kiding if he says yes than just go with it
