You can see far.
When someone says they're far sighted they can see far away but can't see close up.

Farsightedness or hyperopia, occurs when light entering the eye focuses behind the retina, instead of directly on it. This is caused by a cornea that is flatter, or an eye that is shorter, than a normal eye. Farsighted people usually have trouble seeing up close, but may also have difficulty seeing far away as well.

generally one who's vision is clearest at a distance.

opposite of near sighted.

near sighted of course a person who can see clearest at near distances.

another way of putting it.. a far sighted person (another term) is someone who looks to the future is always planning for the future.

near sighted is someone who lives in the now and immediate future.

that's some other meanings of those words.

Those above are true. I am farsighted, I can see at a distance without my glasses, but can not see close up at all.

IT MEANS YOUR VISION UP CLOSE ISNT AS GOOD AS YOUR FAR AWAY VISION. NEAR SIGHTEDNESS IS THE OPPOSITE.
