It shouldn't be but depends on whether we have really isolated ourselves while on our spiritually journey from secular views or influences which may cause stagnation and confusion but God is not an author of God and he will purify us in our spiritual walk from a stagnat mindset.

Yes indeed being stagnant and confused is a part of the spiritual journey. That happens right before you start making great progress. Look at it as resting and mulling the facts over.

Yes, there are long, dry periods where no observable progress is made. We begin to wonder if we have strayed from the path or even if we ever knew what the right path was from the beginning. It is said that the Mexicans have a saying, "What can't be remedied, must be endured." I got that from the movie, "Barbarossa." And, it is true. We will wander into a land of complete despair and all we can do is survive until we get to the other side of it. Namaste.

Of course as it's a part of life and the journey itself. It makes it what's worthwhile and gives a defined answer from GOD at the end. That's supposedly what it's all about, isn't it? peace&love ~p~

i have to say "yes".

as a person, we do not like to be ridiculed, so there are some stagnate moments in life when you do not ask your friends a question or ask for proof of divinity, simply because you do not want to look like a religious kook.

also, new believers usually think that we as christians, muslem, jew, hindu, etc cannot do the things that we think are fun. the fact is, we can. we just cannot break our covenant, nor can we allow our "fun" thing to interfere with our worship of our deity of choice.

as for confusion, there is much that may not make sense to the person who studies their faith, by themself. there are times when we need guidance from the learned of our religion, in order to get past a stumbling point.

even if you do not follow Jesus, God, Allah and therefore dont believe in satan, does not mean that satan does not exist. he is evert taunting and using scripture even, to cause confusion in the believer, in order to sway the believer from God.
