If by frosting you mean highlighting - then the longer you leave it on the lighter the hair will get. I usually just check it every 10 or 15 minutes. If I think it is getting too light, then I take it off. The good thing is that if you don't leave it on long enough the first time, you can do it again and then you will have multiple shades! Pretty.

im guessing frostin means colouring so depending on the brand it varies from 20-45 mins!!
