Dunno. Having more money doesn't necessarily make everything better. It does if you don't even have the basics like food, clothing, shelter, medicine, etc., but human nature dictates that the more we have, the more we spend. Living within your means is generally more important than having more money.

Not necessarily so. If the money comes from selling drugs to children. Not only are you becoming richer by inflicting innocent children to a life of addiction, but you could be putting yourself in harms way, ie: Rival drug gangs. And you could end up being arrested and convicted. This can apply to quite a few examples. Selling Arms for instance. Money cannot be better than poverty even for financial reasons if the way you came by the money leads to your welfare becoming lessened.

I'd rather live financially well than in poverty. Poverty means having nothing... at risk of dying earlier from disease and malnutrition. Living a hand to mouth existance isn't my idea of having a good life.

I am better off financially now than I've ever been, but I can honestly say that things did seem better before, or maybe I appreciated them more. Having saved and waited to buy something makes it all the better.

It's nice to have a bit of money but when you don't have much you're at your most creative. It is said that the weak must be protected. Who are the weak? Easy. The Royal family 'cos they could'nt put up with the crap us poor people have to put up with.
