Seriously, the Angel Gabriel said to the Virgin Mary you shall be with child and "He shall be called the Son of the Most High" So when Christians call Jesus Christ the Son of God we are fulfilling the prophesy!

You are right. Despite the claims of Muslims, Jesus would never, ever have become a Muslim.

Jesus was born and raised by Mary, a Jewish woman. That makes him Jewish. He studied the Torah in Hebrew and became a rabbi.

What Jesus added to the Torah law is called the "good news" or gospel. This is called the Injil in the Qur'an.

The essence of the gospel is ***love*** and ***forgiveness***. Jesus even commanded the devout to ***love*** their enemies. That was more than the Jewish law taught.

For this reason, Jesus would NEVER have approved what Muhammad was taught by the angel Gabriel to fight in the cause of Allah against non-believers. Jesus would never follow Islam.

Jesus would have preached HIS message of ***love*** and ***forgiveness*** to all Muslims so that they might know the true nature of God/Allah and the true path to Jannah (Heaven).

Jesus throughout His life on Earth worshipped as Jew and lived His life as a Jew. This was in accordance with God, His Father`s Laws governing the Hebrews.

Jesus , like the rest of the Israelites worshipped the one and only TRUE God Jehovah....the latter were a great test and disappointment to Jehovah Please don't debate the Name again...I'm using the English way of saying the name YHWH. So many today use Jesus (English) but will not say (Jehovah) The Israelites were so familiar with this Name that they would never doubt what one was trying to comvey. As far as world religions go, Islam is pretty new on the scene.

In order to try to make their religion seem more ancient, they claim that Jesus, and all the Jewish prophets were actually Moslems.

(Actually they were all Jews, which fact makes Muslims even more angry).

I believe it says in the Bible that Jesus was Jewish. The religion of Christianity started after he died/rose again on the cross. He wouldn't be able to believe in a religion that hadn't been created yet.

Okay, you really need help. I think people know that Jesus in not Muslim. For others out there who don't know about this person, I think she believes that nobody else believes in God, and it is her "Christian duty" to let people know they are all going to hell because she said so. I just received an e-mail from her saying that I've had my chance, and if I don't believe what she said, then I have no hope. I do believe in God, and someone else has no right to judge me but God. I'm all for people saying what they believe, but this one has gone a little far. It's ok to be excited about your religion, but to degrade other religions because they don't bow down to your beliefs is wrong and unchristian.

How can Jews believe that Jesus is a son of God, when such a belief is clear blasphemy according to the old testament?

Jesus was born out of the virgin mary, as a sign of his purity, so people would recognize him as the final savior, when he returns, he will have no relatives in this life, because his mother was Mary. People claim that Jesus was a Jew, and that makes Jews special, but God created all people spiritually equal at birth, and will judge us by our righteousness and self-restraint, not by our birth.

The name/title of Christians and christianity only came after his death.

Yes the Bible references Christians, but you have to realize that all the books of the bible were written MANY years after his death. I believe the earliest of the gospels was written about 75 to 90 years after his death.

Furthermore, the Bible was written by common men and not god or gods. They were not infallible and nearly all of what was written was passed down verbally from one generation to the next.
