Is Hummus High In Sodium

I'm sure you mean, is it healthy for one to eat...

Hummus is made from Chick peas, Tahini (Sesame paste), garlic, olive oil , salt&pepper and paprika.
These things, eaten in moderation, are good for you.
Sesame paste is high in calories as is peanut butter - so dont eat lots and lots of it.

It's obviously most healthy if you make it homemade with a smaller amount of high fat tahini and olive oil, but chickpeas are a great source of healthy protein and garlic...well it's GARLIC, it's healthy and just plain wonderful.

People eat it as an alternative to meat (vegetarians), very high in protein, but also very high in sodium. Called garbanzo beans (chick peas). Some varieties come with additional flavors (garlic, roasted tomatoes and so on)
