You should use a curly comb, which is wide toothed they are sometimes called a detangle comb, never use a brush this will just make it static. Use a shampoo and conditioner designed for curly hair. John Freida, Umberto Giannini and Sunsilk are all very good, when you are drying your hair scrunch dry it, don't rub dry it. Add a de-frizz sirum from any of the above ranges and if you use a dryer use a defrizz nozzel...

*sigh* i so know the feeling hehe. What works for me is putting lots of conditioner, then toweling my hair dry without getting it too messed up. Then i comb it (thats the only time i comb it) and put lots of curling mousse. This helps get all the frizz out. Then i either leave it to dry naturally or i use a diffuser (gets more puffy though). Before going out i use a frizz serum then, just to calm things down :)

My hair also is very curly. I condition really good and use Aussie spray gel. I let it air dry as I scrunch. My hair doesn't frizz nearly as easily or as bad and I seem to get a lot of complements.
