I had a boyfriend who did the same thing to me once. The only thing different is that he went to jail after he left me for another woman. I was 20 when that all happened. He got out when I was 23 and at first, I thought that the time he spent in jail, that he changed in some kind of way, boy was I wrong. We got back 2gether and everything was ok at first, but then it went back to the same ole things over again. I finally had enough and even though I loved him (and still do today), I had to leave cause I just could not keep putting myself through all the unnecessary drama. We are still friends though, he has him another girlfriend and I have myself and boyfriend who is treating me and my child with enough respect that a person can only ask for and the only thing I have to think about is the child that we have 2gether and the best thing that I can tell you is that you will always have that one thing that will always keep you 2gether and that is the child, the thing to do about it is to move on with your own life but to never let him leave your child's cause your child will always want to know where he/she came from.

not sure how old you are but you can't just kick him to the curb because of the kid. you can be an adult and move on but don't keep the kid away from their father unless he is a total scumbag. Be mature, don't stoop to low levels. It just hurts more in the end. You can't force someone to be with you, find someone who does. Good Luck!

i know that it is a tough decision to make. your son needs to grow up in an environment where both paternal and maternal support is present.
however, if you take him back there is no saying he would wander off again. the quarrels and inconvenience that ensues is not healthy for your chid. unless of course he is sincere in wanting to stay with you and fulfill his role as a father.
thus, it is taking the lesser of 2 evils.

I would kick him to the curb and find someone else who wants to be with me and not anyone else.
