Once again what is a christian. Do i believe in jesus yes. Do i belive in god yes. Do I believe in the bible. No not entirely. Does that make me a christian? Or a beliver of god. Not just christians but many religions that do not respect the principles of others faith would be said to be fearful. Unfortunately we live in a world where we have been taught to fear anything that opposes us and soughts to take something from us. If we are on the path with god we know there is nothing that can be taken or nothing that we should fear except fear itself. I dont know how old you are but once when I was a faithful church goer at the age of 13 I was told i was not a christian because I didnt believe in the bible. I had no idea what that meant all I knew was how I felt. Eventually throughmy own personal relationship with god and not through a church or the judging eye of men did i find what it was like to not have fear in my heart. The very act of fear is what seperates from the love of god. But dont look to frown upon a christian every belief is a stepping stone a spiritual evolution to god

They have no reason too. The whole premise of their religion is acceptance of the word of God and Christ as a savior. After accepting that, all the answers are provided by God and his word. So why would a Christian think outside of that? It would be hypocritical. And that's one thing I don't support in any faith.
One thing, everyone has the right to choose their own faith. Why be so critical of just one all the time? You sound like you have a personal vendetta against Christians...

In many other religious faiths which are practiced now and which used to be practiced during the time of the Romans, Greeks etc. the Threat of Hell was never given to people of other religious faith.
NOR did anyone say that his was the only God who was right NOR WERE their Any forced Conversions the ROMANS did not CONVERT the EGYPTIANS or JEWS after defeating them as the way CHRISTIAN armies did.
ITS ONLY CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS WHO THINK THEY ARE RIGHT AND EVERYBODY ELSE ARE WRONG.

Nope, I have studied Atheism, Have been a Protestant, Studied Islam and now I am a Catholic.
I have spent hours and hours in meditation, thinking about all aspects of life, death and our purpose on earth.
I wish more people would REALLY search instead of just ignorantly mocking Religion, (No offense)
I don't bash Protestants, or Buddhist, Atheists or even the Peaceful branches of Islam. I think they are wrong, and hope they convert, but I am not knocking on their door at 8AM on a Saturday morning. I will point out when they mis-represent my faith though.
Peace! and God Bless you!

For some tht may be true. But many Christians come to the faith after living very diverse lives and having seen a lot of life so-to-speak. I don't think those kind of people operate in fear mode.

I consider myself a Christian but I am not afraid to think outside the box. I believe in God and Jesus. But, I also think that God is all knowing and that He realizes that maybe some people/cultures need to have belief in a higher being in different ways than others.

I think for myself - I am a thinker - I think everything through- I am also a believer - I don't have faith in my faith - I have faith in God.
Why is it that so many of you think that Christians are dumb and must not think about things and can't think for ourselves? Just because you don't agree with what we say, do or feel doesn't mean we are wrong. Maybe if you opened your mind and heart, you would also have the knowledge and understanding.

I think that you are afraid to think inside the "religious spectrum", you are afraid to find out that you are a sinner and without Jesus Christ you will go to hell.

Not really.
In my Sunday School at a large church..they taught us about different religions & the different denominations & different cults so we'd have a better understanding of the whole picture.

i really don't think you know what your talking about...
i'm a christian...and believe it or not...i think about other things besides my religion...hmmm.....having a beer for example or checking out a girls butt...oh no! will you call me a hypocrite now?
just because a person is a christian doesn't mean they don't enjoy this life and what god put here for us.
