Governor Owens said, “Convicted illegal aliens cost Colorado taxpayers $25 million annually…Medicaid births for non-citizens cost taxpayers $30 million annually…1,615 applicants for IDs couldn’t produce legal documents showing they were not legal immigrants.”

What’s despicable? Illegal aliens’ children costing Colorado taxpayers $564.1 million annually. Last year 271 hit and run accidents occurred in Greeley, Colorado. Three Colorado citizens suffered death at the hands of illegal aliens drunks and shooters. Aurora Mayor Tauer said, “My city pays more than $5 million a year for police and fire services to illegal aliens...$20 million goes for education of illegal alien children…finally, $10 million pays for emergency room care for illegal aliens at two Aurora hospitals (small city near Denver).”

I've been saying that all along. The monies we are spending on illegals could be used to deport them. The additional monies saved after they are gone can be used to build a wall.

This topic is very sensitive in nature due to the fact that it cannot be addressed without touching the ever popular subject of "RACE".

Whether the above numbers are bundled together for lack of space, or to hide certain facts within them, is a matter of utmost importance which in my opinion cannot be ignored.

If I was an "Alien", an "Illegal alien", "A Person With A Foreign Citizenship", "A Foreign National" e.t.c but with a sound education background and no criminal background, and had to answer this question, the answer I would give would be totally different from the answer from someone with every right to be here, but without an education.

This is just an example of how complex and tangled this subject is, and how difficult it would be to answer it by simply quoting a few $$$ figures that have been buddled together.

To answer your question therefore, I would say that you are entiled to your opinion and follow it.

Statistics is a very interesting subject which if used properly, the numbers above would tell a lot more than is concluded in this question.

Regards

Politics again, and there seems to be no one to take the bull by it's horns and deal with the problem. If you do something illegal you most likely will have to pay for it one way or another. Just the word illegal means committing a crime. Illegal aliens are criminals before they are anything else in a foreign nation. Most do need to be sent back. I do believe that if they have been there for a long time and have been an asset to the community then they should be given the opportunity to become a citizen. If they do not then they need to go back as well. Their children with them. If they have committed a crime then no opportunity to stay should be considered.

Especially when we see hospitals closing specifcially due to 'illegal aliens' using facilities and breaking the back of funding.

Btw, hospitals cant legally refuse medical help to illegals, and cannot necessariy ask for cash up front since most pretend they have no $$$. Often the leftover result is shutdown.

Btw, illegals can & do make as much or more in some cases than citizens (often illegally, but sometimes legal).

Yes, but it comes second to the legality issue for me. I can seriously not comprehend how this is even up for argument. They broke THE LAW! What more do I need to know? Not one single rational person can debate the fact that crossing the border illegally is a crime. Why this is even an issue is beyond me.

Jennedy- Yeah.... lets reward them for commiting yet ANOTHER crime. SS fraud. I suppose you have a source to cite that supports your claim that MOST pay taxes?

Hospital s are having to close in the Southern states. One billed Mexico. Mexico said it was not their fault. We could use that money to deport them and the kids.

Well your basic premise is wrong. Illegals are criminals. Will you allow crminals to pay some money and get off their crimes? Maybe you will.
