I bought a Magellan Meridian Platinum several years ago and have enjoyed using it. However I now wish I had a bigger color screen and a USB cable for connection to my computer. I live in the Dominican Republic so there isn't much map data available. I wish I could download data from my GPS after each trip and in that way build up my own custom map base but for that I need a more sophisticated unit with special software. I may change to Garmin when this unit is too old.
