Depends on what's wrong with you. There are a number of hospitals that specialize in certain specific problems.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC is supposed to be one of the best cancer centers in the world.

Royal Bournemouth General...They saved my life after a private Surrey hospital messed up big time!!! Avoid Mount Alvernia Hospital at all costs !!!!

University College Hospital in central London.
Fabulous care, I had CATscans, x rays, blood tests by the dozen and nerve conduction studies, all within about 3 days of my arrival.
(admitidly they did think I was about to die, but thankfully it was nothing serious)
The food and views where good also
