The model number, etc of the JVC subwoofer would help but...

No soldering! yikes

The Denon AVR 1906 has a "Pre amp" output on the back for the subwoofer. It's located above the speaker binding posts in the RCA cluster of jacks next to the two extra receptacles on back. The red RCA jack Labeled Subwoofer connects to the RCA input on the sub. The white RCA jack above it is for the center channel, these extra pre amp outputs are in case you want use a separate amp.

What if my sub woofer doesn't have an RCA input(s)? Then it will have what is called line level inputs. Connect the front speakers to the line level in on the sub (looks like speaker binding bosts or push style) first then connect the speaker level outputs to your speakers. Make sure you keep left and right separate and the black to black and red to red.
