Take your country's currency. Don't use traveller's checks. Don't exchange money in the hotel as it will charge a high commisssion. Look for the local "Doviz" (exchange office) -- in fact find several and compare the rates and check to see if they charge commissions. The rate changes day by day and sometimes hour by hour. When you use a bank machine, you will be charged a fee, so you might want to ask your bank what their percentage is.
Enjoy Kusadasi. I'll be there myself next week and will do a day trip to Samos (Greek Island) by ferry.

Euros, Pounds and Dollars (Canadian and American) are accepted just about every major location in Turkey. Using your ATM card to get TL can sometimes be the best choice because the bank to bank exchange rate is really pretty good. However you first need to talk to your bank, ask them what fees they charge for withdrawing money internationally. If it is a percentage of the withdrawal then it is usually better to bring cash and exchange it here. However my bank only changes me a $2 fee to withdraw cash so that is what I generally do. Also make sure your pin code is all numbers and only four digits and that your card it accepted international (Cirus, Plus and Interlink symbols on the back of your card are good bets) A few travelers checks are also a good idea as they are guaranteed against theft. What ever you choose enjoy your trip.

Well Turkish Lire is obviously the best but the easiest currencies to exchange are the Euro and the US dollar. You wouldn't have too much trouble exchanging British Pounds or Canadian dollars either though. Most hotels are set up to do exchange of any kind of major currency but honestly you are going to get the better rate if you just use your bank card. Just watch that if you have the PLUS sign on our card you use machines that have it and if it has Cirus then use those machines.

Pisos of direction is the remote places money which you will desire to be wearing, everywhere, interior the Philippines. no count how good you think of the deal is for the lodging, products or provider, the perfect deals are in basic terms carried out in pisos. From own adventure, usually evaluating rates from different components - the perfect exchange rates are available from ATMs - the perfect ATM financial enterprise fee, in my adventure, is Citibank So, in simple terms bypass away your money at abode and carry a pair of ATM enjoying cards. in simple terms make certain you have an account with a financial enterprise that supplies no or low expenses. in case you nonetheless sense the would desire to hold remote places funds, listed under are my suggestions. I actual have not replaced money in a Philippines financial enterprise considering the fact that 1996. do no longer understand if issues have more suitable yet they used to have early decrease off circumstances for forex plus pointless expenses. additionally, i got here upon they had the worst rates. Even small cities would have a enterprise that ameliorations remote places currencies. If there is not any obvious money changer, the area that I recommend you try first is the drugstore. As yet another poster mentioned, carry your very own remote places money or you will lose two times on the exchange fee. in case you do use a money changer, make certain you count selection your money in front of them, earlier you bypass away. After any errors has been corrected, make certain you count selection it lower back. i'm hoping this permits! Regards: Jim Sibbick
