I ran into my ex's friend out one night and we hit it off talking,I was still bitter about catching my ex cheating,he listened and understood. He drove me home tht night and I invited him to stay,I asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did, I asked him to put his arm around me,he did till I slept. He was a complete gentleman and did not try anything.I saw him once since than and he came to me and said"you killing me" my exwas there so we had to keep quiet.I was told from a mutual friend that he likes me and enjoyed talking to me,but freaks out about my ex.Is my ex an excuse he is using? Or do you think he does like me but does not know what to do?

Wow. This is not the first time I have seen this scenario on yahooAnswers. It is a triangle with Y=You; YE=Your Ex; and YEF=your Ex's friend.

If YE is reasonable, then he should not have a problem with YEF and Y hooking up. But, I get the feeling that YEF is worried somehow that his friendship with YE may be damaged if YE finds out that Y and YEF are together.

If this is the case, and if YE really is upset about the possibility of Y seeing YEF then it is time for YEF to make a decision -does YEF stay friends with YE but lose Y or does YEF follow his heart and go with Y and let the YE-YEF relationship fall where it may.

Well you are his freind's EX!!! Of course it's weird. By him telling you "your killing me"...I think it's cause he def likes you, but it's sort of awkward cause his friend dated you, and if the two of you started going out it would create drama between the two of them and then it would REALLY be weird. Guys hate drama. Talk to him about it. Let him know your thoughts and ask him how he feels.

You asked this question b4 - why are you asking again? The likes you but may not want to betray his friend or take "sloppy seconds". Ask him.... and don't ask this question again OK?
