I believe the only limits to God's mercy is when mercy would rob justice. And the only time that would happen is when one does not accept the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. For those who do accept it, there are no limits to God's mercy and no limits to one's eternal glory.

From all I know there is no limit onGod's mercy. Although He cannot forgive for something that someone has not asked for forgiveness for. I uased to think thatr ssuicied was the only unforgivable sin because you could not for forgiveness for it. However our pastor has said that he does believe people that have commited suicide can be forgiven by virtue that they may say God forgive mr for what I am about to do. Or because they had a good heart just super bad times and needed out. So I am still under the understanding that the only unforgivable sin is the one that you do not ask for forgiveness for.

Yes. The book of Hebrews addresses this. And in the first chapter of Romans, it says God turns people over to their vile affections if they consistantly turn their back on Him. People are foolish to think they can forget about God until they're on their deathbed, because their hearts may be too hardened by then.
But these are examples of repeated rebukings of God's mercy, not one-time instances. The harder you push away from God, the harder he'll try to pull you back, until you choose to no longer be under His mercy. I don't know if there is a particular suicide instance you have in mind, but Biblically speaking, most scholars agree that if Judas would have repented, Jesus would have forgiven him, too.

His mercy has no limits and as for suicide, understand only God knows the state of a persons soul and mind. One who committs suicide is not always, and probably seldom, aware of the seriousness of his actions. Therefore not likely to be held accountable.

There's no limit to God's mercy. God came to earth, inhabiting and becoming as one with a human body, and allowed his evil created beings to put him to death in the most horrific manner. And then he publicly forgave them.
By the way, we are not destined to go to heaven. Where in the Bible does it say that?

Genesis 6:3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh; yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. The first part of this verse answers that question.The bible tells us that the only unpardonable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

God's mercy is without limits ..thank (His) goodness.
It is our concept of justice that wants to limit God's capacity to forgive.

7:156. And ordain for us in, this world that which is good, and in the Hereafter (that which is good), Lo! We have turned
unto Thee. He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraceth all things, therefore I shall
ordain It for those who ward off (evil) and pay the poor due, and those who believe Our revelations;
40:7. Those who bear the Throne, and all who are round about it, hymn the praises of their Lord and believe in Him and
ask forgiveness for those who believe (saying): Our Lord! Thou comprehendest all things in mercy and knowledge,
therefor forgive those who repent and follow Thy way. Ward of from them the punishment of hell.
