Who knows, all we can do is speculate because there is no physical proof. Its our imagination that likes to believe in heaven, wait till your dead then you will know the answer. Personally I would like to beleive it is a place of eternal bliss where everything is perfect and peaceful.

heaven is whatever you want it to be. the reason it was invented is twofold:

firstly, it acts like a narcotic, soothing people who have horrible lives...

secondly, it (along with "hell") is used as a threat to make people abide to other people's will
