denden,a very good Q,but very complex. There are 4 levels of awareness. Ignorance, law, grace, unconditional LOVE.we pass through the levels of "ILLUSION", until we become unconditional LOVE,then as the witness we realize GOD looks through our eyes and it is the light of LOVE that creates, the light of Truth, carries GODS power into manifestion. It is NOT I THAT DOETH THE WORK,BUT THE FATHER WITHIN. IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SEE THE LIGHT,ONE MUST BECOME THE LIGHT. Ephens 2-22 & 4-4/6 FROM LOVE WITH LOVE TO LOVE whistle britches. PS impurities of mind(concepts) and heart(emotions) manifest until this state is attained.

Great question...
"Destiny" has ever been in our control/power. I believe that we have choice, Free Will that influences the course of things. However, destiny speaks to me of the things that are pre-set, unavoidable situations that will occur no matter what we do. Its how we respond to the situation and the choices we make around them that reflect who we are, and allows us the illusion of control.
A lot of people have the concept that "God" or a "higher power" has control of us like a puppet on a string and I don't believe that in any way. We are co-creators with that living force not helpless victims.

I always thought that destiny was like fate. You really have no control over the outcome, you can guide it along, but you can't make anything happen. You can save all your life for a house that is someday destroyed by a fire. It's destiny and I don't see how you can control it.

I would think that the millions of people in the world that are starving to death would imagine that a higher power was in control of their lives.

I was 40 years old before I found out that God is truely in charge.

We are not promised another second on this earth. It comes only by His grace.

We are worth a Son to God.

Of course.

You make things happen.

Otherwise you're just a spectator in the great game of life.

Destiny?, control?, power?, higher power?...could you please explain what you mean by these things? they seem a bit imprecise and could mean almost anything.
