Just this
is the path
--there is no other--
to purify vision.
Follow it,
and that will be Mara's
bewilderment.

Following it,
you put an end
to suffering & stress.
I have taught you this path
for knowing
the extraction of arrows.

Knowledge is not the answer. Wisdom is!
The want for knowledge got us into trouble in the first place. The Buddha was not looking for knowledge but rather for enlightenment.
Mara appears to be another name for Satan.

Buddha and Jesus agree in the message that to think and act with compassion AND forgiveness toward others is "the path" to (inner) peace.

Jesus expressed it more precisely: love your neighbour, even if he/she may be your "enemy", and willingly turn the other cheek.

Knowledge has traditionally led to arguments. Wisdom leads to enlightenment.

This goes far beyond what we commonly define as knowledge. The Dhammapada refers to what might be better understood as "buddha-wisdom." This can be reduced to these simple points:

With kindness towards all, accept all things as blessings.
Reject nothing, but your own attachment to desires and expectations.

Knowledge is needed in all things, but there are many people that are full of knowledge and have no idea how and when to use that knowledge.

Wisdom is the real answer to all things. Wisdom is knowing when and where to use knowledge.

No, knowledge gives one power but is not the answer to all. Wisdom enables one to use the knowledge to attain the power of enlightenment which is reason and individualism. Many things have been given without which seems as no reason but in reality there was a reason. It is known as the gift of love and enlighten-
ment to those who HE chooses to share in the one true gift of spiritual passion, joy, love, hope, attainment to Heaven and HIS glorious circle of light........peace & love ~p~
