My cats don't have to ponder, they know I'm god. I listen to their meows, feed them, take care of their boo-boo's and always tell them that they are loved. I wish we as humans could be so lucky as to have a diety that gets off his a.ss and actually helps us.
I pity the cat who doesn't love Mr.T.

It is known that cats meditate, complete with intonation of a sound and gentle swaying. They were revered in paintings (and shown painting themselves) as far back as ancient Egypt. The texts of Yoga say that a great jungle cat was the first to teach a man the Yoga postures. There are entire books about cat and dog meditation.
I was once walking up a mountain trail and came face to face with a bobcat. I did what I was taught, stood up and waved my arms to be as large and menacing as possible and yelled to scare it off. I yelled "who are you!" After your question, maybe I should think it wasn't scared, it just had to go contemplate the answer to my question.
But no, their nervous sytems are much simpler than ours, allowing far less novelty of thought, and far less control of their environment. As cute as the stories above may be, the animals involved don't reach the same level as any human philosophy.

Because in reality religion is not about philosophy...man created religion in order to ponder about GOD and express their feelings about GOD...but if true understanding is given about the matters of GOD...you will realize the limitations of religious thoughts and discussions. Then it becomes a limited matter where not even cats and dogs can ponder about it... ;-)

Your answer indicates you will not stop and listen to anything.
Hope I'm wrong there.
If you truly believe dogs and cats ponder religious philosophy, why haven't any of them published books?
If you are right about the dogs and cats, then all of science is wrong.
Don't tell me I must forget the benefit of 1000's of years of scientific discovery and knowledge and start listening to you!!!

Animals lack the intelligence to grasp a philosophical or religious concept. Animals are visual creatures who act on natural instincts. They do not have the capacity to think outside of their natural innate behaviors. That's why there has never been a Jesus dog or a Confucius cat.

6:38. There is not an animal in the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are peoples like unto you.
We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our decrees). Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.
17:44. The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth his praise;
but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.

Of course they are smarter than us!!!!!!!
Any animal on this planet is smarter than us, we are the only who have more intelectual and physical skills...and what have they done with that???
We have done nothing but destroying this planet and degrading our selves...
Or so I think when I see all the advertising campaings to sale the blue pill...I mean...where we are that we can not longer perform in a natural way what it comes so natural as any physiological function as it is sex????
Are we the smarter???

They do. Just not when we're looking. They don't want to let us in on their revelations. They know all sorts of weird stuff that, if revealed to humans, would tear down our preconceived notions of the world and would rend our petty minds asunder.
